Alan Kwok is a Sun Certified Java Programmer currently working at The Ohio State University Medical Center as one of its Research Programmers. Alan has received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1993 and another bachelor’s degree in Information Technology specializes in Client/Server Programming from DeVry University in 2001. He has worked on numerous projects with organizations like Moffitt Cancer Center, Chemical Abstracts Service, JP Morgan Chase, H&R Block, Ashland Chemical Company, and NetJets in the past six years being a consulting developer.

Alan has completed projects and is specialized in EDI processing via JMS and JDBC; XML manipulation via SAX, DOM, JDOM, and XOM; Microsoft Office automation and programming via VBA; Java web services programming via Websphere Application Server, Websphere Integration Developer, and Apache Axis; Web development via JSP, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB Script, and PHP; and Database design and querying via Erwin, Oracle Designer, Oracle Developer, and SQL.
