CLL Research Consortium Tissue Core Sample Collection Study

• Patients with CLL who for medical diagnostic or therapeutic reasons are to undergo phlebotomy, will be informed of the study and of our desire to have a blood sample. Patients will be asked whether they will be willing to donate up to 50 mls of blood at intervals of >/= 21 days. The samples will be obtained during routine phlebotomy, when the patients are seen for scheduled medical evaluation and/or treatment for their underlying CLL.
• All persons must be able to give informed consent and be greater than eighteen years of age. No person will be excluded because of race or gender.
